Indeed; I thought it was an amusing term to use considering where I now am.

Well, that's one of the benefits. A steady paying job being another, of course.

2 days and I've /still/ not tried the beer yet. Or the Czech girls,
come to that. I did expect that the latter might take a while. I've
yet to find if there's a place the alternative/subculture types hang
out. I've definitely spotted a handful of goth/emo kids.

Close, but no seegar, man. We was hipper than a hip thing, back in
the transition period between 'beatniks' and 'hippies', and infinitely
cooler than modern 'hipsters'. ;-)

You already found the answer in the page you linked to:

As a list owner or moderator, there's not much you can do to the list =
itself. The "solution" is to ask your list members to change their =
message encoding. It's much like asking them not to send HTML formatted =
emails, but simply a different setting

The last time I had a new car with Bridgestones they were very slippy
and appeared to have some silicone-grease-like substance on them.
Of course it must have been an illusion.
And if there is no release agent in the mould and it is just smooth metal,
why does the tyre release itself from the mould rather than the steel
carcass?
